I’m Jim and I’m a Design Warrior. Why Design Warrior? I’ve worked in the field for 28 years and have owned this business since 1990. I make my living each day by producing creative designs for our clients, and generating unique materials suited to their marketing needs. Even with increased competition in the advertising and marketing arena, I’m proud to say that the majority of our clients have been with us for years and we continue expanding simply by word of mouth and positive referrals. I’m David and I handle the marketing side of the business. Actually, I got my start on the design side (same as my business partner Jim), but migrated to client services, project management and media services a few years ago. I still play an important role in the firm’s daily creative process for clients, but now I get as energized from helping clients determine appropriate marketing strategies and the necessary pieces to get them there. I’ve also become an online and digital advertising junkie and think an integrated approach across traditional and emerging media is the most effective way to engage your audiences where they are. And, in today’s menu of media choices, that can be quite a balancing act!
I’m Kristyn and I’m the Account + Client Services Manager. Long title, I know. I work with each client individually making sure their needs are being met. I keep projects organized and on-track. I make sure deadlines are kept, projects move forward, and answer questions that may arise along the life of a project. Whether it’s researching the cost of a new brochure, scheduling and placing ads, or simply making sure all materials are shipped satisfactorily, I guess I’ve become quite a “plate spinner”… and that certainly takes a creative balance. In essence, I strive to make life easier for our clients. So, give me a call and start worrying less and smiling more!
I’m Sandy and I’m the Business Manager. And, I do exactly what you think I do. I manage the “business side” of the business. My Type-A personality (and accounting background!) makes me perfect for this position. I can answer your questions about bookkeeping or invoicing for current and past projects and am happy to work with you on your individual invoicing needs. Whether you like your invoices mailed, faxed or emailed or require your invoices sent a certain day of the month, I will work with you to meet those needs.
Patti Edmon founded Edmon Design in July of 1990, shortly after she and Jim were married. Her background in client services, business management, art, creative direction and writing blended quite nicely with Jim’s creative and artistic skills. Together, they grew the partnership into a thriving, dedicated livelihood that continues to bless the Edmon family. Born into a family of entrepreneurs, the concept of working and living in total partnership was entirely familiar to Patti and though asked repeatedly how they managed, it was as natural as the passion they share for discovery, creativity and evolving together in their life journey. A balanced approach to life and work.
